Here's a bit of info on the kit (posted some of it as a translation from a Japanese page last week).
MRTC-SDW SD World Championship Replica
- limited to 555 kits
New parts:
- aluminium bulkheads and new "floating" motormount that lower the drivetrain 4.5 mm and the upper deck 2.0 mm.
- front short span suspension arms with new aluminium suspension mounts
- new chassis, upper deck, shock towers, battery plate, rear body mount, bumper support and roll bar plate from normal "black" carbon fibre 2.5 mm
- full aluminium universal driveshafts, both bone and axle (i.e. YMP version)
- aluminium ball studs
- carbon fibre hollow main shaft
Kit will include the following option parts:
- titanium screw set
- super precision bearing (drivetrain)
- titanium turnbuckles
- aluminium input shafts
- aluminium rear suspension mounts
- front roll bar (Rayspeed)
- rear roll bar (upper type) (same bars as front upper type but mounted in normal position at rear)
- HD rear suspension arms
- bump stop o-rings
Rest is to the same spec as the current SD SSG and Black versions.
Should be available early December (555 kits).
Remember this is an exclusive World Championship Replica kit exactly to the same specs as Masami's car at the worlds. Pretty sure we can expect a 'normal' version early next year with more 'user friendly' driveshafts, steel input shafts, steel ball studs etc. to a lower price of course.

Aaaaaaargh, they put the YMP driveshafts. To you guys that will buy that car and use it, a good advice : either don't use them, or if you do, make sure you use brand new wheel nuts and DON'T tighten them a lot, otherwise you'll snap the axles.
My YMP-axles has been holding up well, in REAR, the front ones twisted like bolied spaghetti after one race. Rear ones has been holding up for a whole season

I'm saying that because Chris Grainger had them at Stafford (BRCA National this summer) and broke two of them in 3 runs, none broke on a crash, just while the car was cornering nicely on the proper line, and the second time, it was in the 4th minute of the A final, he was leading with a huge gap over the second and lost the race (and his chances in the championship) because of that.
Maybe he had dodgey ones, or maybe you have been lucky, maybe you don't tighten your nuts too much, but I think my advice of using new nuts and not tightening too much the wheels is pretty good.
NB : Chris now uses Titanium Racing driveshafts.

Also (not sure if this is accurate) the bulkheads, which are 4 pieces, will "key" into the chassis so they line up perfectly straight for drivetrain alignment.

Looks real nice, but open gear cases? One lil' spec of "track debris" in those gears and There goes the mesh.
Wonder if 555 stands for the price in US dollars.

I'm sorry but I don't think so, the holes for the gearboxes will be totally different to the ones for these bulkheads.
