I was wondering if you have titanium screws, titanium axles and universal shafts on your car yet? I have my cgm's weight down to 1528grams/53.9 ounces with those items. That is just a tad under the U.S. NORRCA limit but still 2 whole ounces over ROAR limit. I got that weight with the diff up front, i cant imagine what it would be with my solid steel speedtech spool!

Yes I do have titanium screws. Titanium axles only on the rear hubs as the front ones wear too much. Alloy drive shafts all round, and titanium input shafts. The prop shaft is a Tobee Craft one which is very light. The outer suspension arm mounts are also alloy but again it's a question of reliability over weight saving.
I originally had an alloy spool which I had made up myself, but I now have a steel one. It weighs a bit more but is more reliable.
Our weight limit is 1500 grams so I still have a long way to go.
The amazing thing is that, despite being 50 grams heavier than it's competitors it is still ballistic, and very competitive. My son can do the same times with it that he does with his TC3, and everyone that drives it is impressed.
It's a great car.

My CGM has all the light weight stuffs like Johnbull's, except the optional chassis, with a small cooling fan and personal transponder, it weights 1550g. I think a stock CGM will weight around 1600g. But as Johnbull said, even the car is heavy, it feels light on the track, my car can accelerate just as fast as my friend's Pro4, which is 1460g.

All I have done is trimmed the front one where the rear body mounts fit so that it's shorter and neater.

New shock towers
Do you have pics of the new Rayspeed shock towers?
I run Sorex 24 and sometimes 28. So far had 5 meets with the 24 and no sign of wear.

New Rayspeed shock towers
I still prefer my old Rayspeed shock towers as it has more holes for the shocks.
