according to my friends who live in japan,
CGM chassis is very hard to get right setups and 50gram hevier than SSG.
since Shinnosuke Adachi will keep to use RS chassis, I'll go same way.

he got 3rd place at big race in Japan which is called YamaYama Cup.
1st and 2nd place???
415 took them all 3main races,,,

Well after seeing how cheap the CGM conversion is gonna be, I decided to keep my current SD and convert over. Then build another CGM for lower traction surfaces..

Why is that all you can say? Are you typing with just one finger or what?

I'd be more than happy to try it - so long as I know that it doesn't attract crap - and cause more problems than it solves.

I found out from Yokomo myself. The only things that are graphite are the new shock towers, graphite composite chassis, and the steering brace. I'm not sure of the bulkheads. I think they are. I didn't ask about those.

Try it and tell me what you think. Do not put too much. I apply it, make the dogbone have some travel, then use a towel to clean the parts.

Thats a much better idea. It took you too long to build that trick car and to find all that trick stuff. Would be a shame to give it all away and start from scratch. Glad you keeping this one.

CGM for lower traction surfaces ????

since the CGM chassis is much stiffer than SSG, it suppose to be good for high traction surfaces such as carpet track.

that's what Masami's dad said on YMP web site.

I think randman intended to mill out some of the bracing on 'another' 2nd CGM chassis to try and induce some flex for lower traction tracks - that was my understanding of one of his earlier posts.

Sorry for butting in, but I just couldn't help it!!

I preferred Randmans original idea - he should 'give it all away' to me!

I'll get some then and let you know how what I think of it after a couple of race meetings. As you know, I didn't have much luck with the driveshafts initially, but they've been good for a while now. I have detected only very 'slight' wear on the diff outputs so far - but I run mainly Stock.

BTW - have you ever used the same stuff on the CVD joint itself? Presumably if it's working really well on the bone end in the cup, it should help the joint as well?......

Hmm, I guess it's a good thing that one of my cars will be a conversion.. less crap to buy.

I ordered a couple of the Shooters camber link mounts, but unfortunately the black ones are no longer made, and they propably wont work on the CGM anyways, but I am still on the hunt for trick junk
