Hi friends. greetings from Malta.
Got some pics of one of my SDs at last.
Have a look at how far forward and in I have managed to move the cells. The servo is much further forward too, giving me more space for electrics.
More pics to follow. This one is a general view of the car's layout. Chassis is 3.8mm carbon.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.

More pics.
have a look at the steering linkeage from the servo. It runs ahead of the steering arm pillars.
There is no steering mechanism behind the pillars which allows the servo and cells to be moved further forward.
Pic is not very clear unfortunately. Sorry.

Johnbull:
Impressive stuff! And refreshing to see your messages amongst the current CGM hype (No flames please!! ;o)
Excellent stuff.
How much of an improvement has it made over the standard SD?

It just seems to do everything so much better.
Certainly tweek is a thing of the past.
Oh. One thing you will not have noticed is the prop shaft. This is a shortened TC3 carbon one. Very easy, very light and totally effective. Haven't had any trouble with it at all.

Alch : Please weigh your CGM chassis once you've finished building it. I am curious to know how much it weighs coz the Yokomo Japan site lists it at "about 1580g fully loaded" vs "about 1500g fully loaded" for the SSG and Black.
