My first real car was a tamiya indy car i got for x mas when i was 7.. My grandparent got it for me.. however they did not know it was just a roller... My parents never got me a radio for it due to cost.. that was in 1984/85... My first real complete car was when i was 12 i got a rc-10 gold tub with a pit stop chain drive from the neighbor.. i have had a few hundred cars since then.. I just cant stop.. i take 6 month breaks from racing now and then, but i always have a car on my bench..

first rc vehicle was a marui big bear. when it finally stopped running it had: kyosho gold shocks, thorp ball diff, trinity 14x2 mod motor, novak t4, and slick tires.
by "stopped running" i mean my battery got too low and those stupid old systems would just keep going straight, straight into the pool

I just happened to find today the receipt for my first ever true rc and then I saw this thread. My first true rc was a Marui Big Bear that my mother purchased for me in 1992 from Sheldon's. Money was hard to come by back then (lived in an apartment) but she still managed to buy it for me. I wish I still had it (sold it at an auction at the Flying lady). My next few cars were:
McCallister MX pro (still have it and the box)
Midnight Pumpkin (assembled from new and used parts I collected and still own)
RC10 (assembled from odds and ends, bullet arms, graphite track master tranny, still own)
Blackfoot (fleemarket special, given to older brother for christmas many moons ago, he still has it)
Fast attack ( purchased at fleemarket in great shape but sold to Sheldon's employee many years ago)
These were all from my teen years only as I own or have owned many more since then.
