Kyosho Raider. Fluorescent red turned out pink, now almost 20 years later, most of my cars have to have a little pink on them.

World Engines Rockbuster
Bought it with my paper route money. I remember i finally got it together at about 10pm that night and ran it out in the street for the maiden run. It made this weird thup-thup-thup sound across the asphalt and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out it was the knobby tires. :weird: |
My first was an OFNA MBX. My second was a RC10 (gold tub) with the RPM chassis. Seems backwards, doesn't it?
|
My first was a "Fat Wheels" RC car. You had to inflate the rubber tires by blowing into a tube and tucking the tube between the tire and wheel. They never held the air, and the vehicle barely had enough torque to overcome its own weight. It looked awesome in the commercials though :D Now I am really showing my age!
My second was a Nikko Rhino...a 540-powered, very heavy, but very tough, buggy that was sold at Toys R Us. Very poor ground clearance due to the differential that ducked below the chassis. I wore out several sets of tires long before I ever broke anything. I still see some on eBay every now and then. |
first was a Traxxis Street Force
second was an RC10L3 |
first RC was a Porsche 911 bought at Radio Shack, it was fast enough for me at the time, I gave the car to a nephew and still plays with it.
The first serious RC was a Traxxas Revo 3.3 RTR, still have it and I love it. |
