That's a very nice tool indeed. I almost bought that for my 1/8 car, but went w/ the Hudy all in one instead.

I saw that some guys are using the niftech one too.

Thanks for the help.

bsmooth,

I have the hudy system as well how do you use the Setup block since the axles are too small for the blocks?

Way to go Team CRC. Looking at the results from the IIC it looks like there were 3 or 4 cars in both the stock and modified A-main.

I have been using my Gen-X for a few weeks and really like the car. Any Vegas setups? New items? "Long" arms?

Pretty sure that there was more than that...

In stock, Mark Smyka, Jeff Cuffs and Peter Dangelo.

I think mod was Hupo Honigl, Jeff Dayger, Jilles Groskamp. Not sure about a couple others.

Hello,
I recently sold my 1/10 TC and now just purchased a Gen-X (first 12th scale) and had a question about spares.

What do you guys carry aroung in your tool boxes? Specifically, what are the must have spares (breakage), and what tuning parts do you recommend?

Thanks for any help.

Its always good to have some spare front end parts for 12th scale...for the pro-strut front end I stock king-pins, upper and lower arms(they come together in the package) and front pillow balls...thats about it...still have only bent a kingpin in many days of running!

For tuning pick up some shock and side springs...and maybe try one of those new front end braces that just came out...check em out on the CRC site...

good luck, I think you will love the car...
