LOL Smyka thanks for the reminder. but the sun had little to do with the switch from on road to oval. Sure aint like the Northeast down here.

Here's another Idea then just hold the race at minregg. 1 week oval 1 week on road or onroad monday thru wed onroad then thursday - sunday oval

OK, let's get back to basics people.....

1. Snowbirds.. A gathering of Electric RC racers, both onroad and Oval.
2. One of the main reasons is a lot of people go because it has both racing.
3. People like me, have never seen an oval race and enjoyed it more than I care to admit.
4. I plan on entering an oval class because I am able to.
5. Yeah, the hotel was perfect but I've stay at far worse places....
6. Mike and the ThunderRC people did what they could to make it better for all and they did the they could. I'm sure they will take everyones comments in consideration.
7. In 6 months everyone will forget the bad and remember the fun stuff....
8. Next year the "Coliseum" rubber tire racers will be in full force at the birds....

Agreed, the rooms were questionable and I feel for those that are having problems with billing, etc. We are all in this hobby for some the same reasons and enjoy each other more than we like to admit.
Mike Thank You and your crew for a fabulous race. It was my first national event and I was very impressed. And will be back next year with a lot more people running rubber tire (as rick said).
