STLNLST: hey Clint, yea i have run a spool with rubber tires on carpet before, it can work very well but it takes a different aproach. just puting a spool in my one way car my car usually gets 1 to 2 tenths slower per lap, but i do beleive if i were to work with the spool for a while it could be just as good. and you never know maybe better. when i go overseas their are a couple of guys who run spools and do very well.
and yea i do think that the anti dive is taking away steering from you, but it is most likley making it easier to drive as well.

Hey Clint - At a race 2 months ago we (the Schuey guys) all showed up to run rubber on carpet with what we thought were the right setups...one ways, one step stiffer front springs, etc. The cars were loose and hard to drive.
A few weeks ago we went again but we all started with spools and asphalt setups. We were way faster and the cars were more consistent. We ended up winning all the rubber classes with spools and asphalt setups.
Spools certainly work on carpet. This was on RP30's and CS27's on carpet with Paragon.

I used the same type of bearings (Boca) in my FK05 with no issues, so I expect the same results with the 007. The overall drive train was noticeably smoother with full ceramics installed.
