No they should be at differnt angles, reason being that when they are at the same angle it can cause wheel chatter.

THat Sucks, was that directly from TiR? I know Nexus has some of their stuff in stock, they have always had great Customer Service and fast shipping

Depends on which stock motor you are trying to gear and the general size of the track. Can you tell us which one you are using? Then we can give you a better estimate of how to gear it.
