Default Math

Well, my daughter did the math for me and I don't know how to check it so I hope it is right if not, then please correct HER! LOL.

Glad to be back in the AE pits - Tony, next year I might let you put my car down in the J Mains, if you are lucky. And as you know, I will definitely be operating an AE vehicle.

Nice Chair Stand!

I did the numbers and they kinda looked like this
- 60 heats x 10 cars per day = 600 cars
600 cars @ apprx 28 laps each = 16,800 laps/day
16,800 laps per day x 4 days = 67,200.00 laps.

WOW!
Isn't this off by a factor of about two? There were 60 heats per round, but ran two rounds a day for two days of practice and two days of qualifying. And don't blame your daughter

Does anyone know the percentage of 1/10-scalers that was running the DNA bodies?

They did a survey at registration but not sure if Scotty is going to post the results. I would say I was surprised there wasn't more people running the DNA body. At most it was a 50/50 split.

JayBee, the current DNA is for carpet, the asphalt version is not out yet. I didn't have the heart to tell Doug that yet.

I think a lot of the traction issue was due to the HVAC system, which was massive. The air was definitely moving, not to mention 20' ceilings, and very low humidity. I don't think the track ever got "wet", as a lot of carpet races do.

Big thank you to all the event sponsors, Doug and Scotty and his amazing crew for a perfectly run event in my opinion.
I wonder if it was becuse "the rubber tire cars anyway" RP30's and not CS27's?

RP30's are a better tire for carpet, or any surface in my opinion over the CS27's. They may not wear as well as 27's, but they make more traction, are more aggressive, and faster than CS27's. The main reason any of the cars looked bad was due to low traction, being overpowered, and just driven that way. Any of the cars that were fast in rubber tires could spin out, but the drivers just didn't.

The "bad traction" didn't seem to affect you ...you were FLYING!!! ..I still think STLNDRAG threw the race on purpose just so he could wear the dress
