I ran these in my Type r with a little work they fit. I've had the same 2 packs since 12/2008 and they're still going strong http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...5C-74V-5000mAh

Default This post gives me hope

This thread makes me feel better about my JRXS-R, i thought I was the only one who needed to mount the speed control on the wrong side of the car from where Losi says to put it.

Just curious, In stock 17.5 tc, what pinion and spur are you running on a large semi technical track?

Depents on what motor and how much timing you are running.

I'm running 3.91 FDR with an eXpress Motorsports D3 with 15 degrees of timing.

I would start with around a 3.90 FDR and check temps and performance.
45/96 is a good start

How often did/or do you guys run the 41t pulley to overdrive your car?
Any insights etc will be most appreciated.

Kind regards,
Pizza

I run it all of the time. It adds a ton of steering.

What does it do with rear end grip if it ads soooo much steering?
Sacrifices rear grip, or does it pull the rear with it....or something?

It digs the front and and the rear has no choice but to follow. It makes the front end more arressive without making the rear loose. Look at settle from Fairtrace, Shreffler, and Haynes. They use heavy sway bars and minimum rear toe.

First off, thanks for the input you guys.

I get that.
If this only has advantages without disadvantages then, why isn't every tourer being setup/developed like this.
Come on, there has to be a downside as well...isn't there?

I use overdrive as well. On the small tracks I race on it's great, you can really power through the corners. I also use overdrive on my XXX4. Not sure why it isn't more common in TC because it does have it's advantages.

Can you think of the effect on a large track?
