Default Lipo's that fit?

Hey guys,

I borrowed an SMC 4000 today which fit perfectly in the type R. I want to order one up this week but before i do, just wanted to check if there might be another pack maybe with more capacity i should consider that will fit with no mods? Anything with bullet plugs or am i going to have to stick with deans?

Thanks,

Blake

I heard new Losi pack fits without any mod on the chasis but little bit on the plate, which is piece of cake to do.

Yeah, but the SMC 5000 doesn't fit and takes hours of drilling the chassis and spacing the belts and pulleys.

thats with the 3600/3800 orion packs.. BUT with 4800/5000 platinums it should fit without ANY modifications done in the topdeck and pulleys.

The Orion 5000 Platinum2 fits with no mods required and has performed real well for me.

Yea, I saw that after placing an order. Order was over the weekend, walked in the local shop tonight and saw one hanging on the wall.

However also tonight I did convert my car to foam to see how it was and I'm sold. Gonna order another kit through the LHS sometime soon.
