Ok, so now that thats settled... So we now know that sometime in the future Losi will be making more trays. Good. It seems like more people than I thought are in need of one. So just how long did they make these things? Did those who didnt get one just pushed it off and said I'll get one sooner or later, then before they knew it they quit making them?
#6663
I agree. I think they were about $20 before, I would pay twice that for one.

For the Losi JRXS Type R, I just picked up a Novak BL 10.5 and a 8.5 how would I gear these motors with a 118 spur... The track size is 100x45 I'll be running rubber tires on asphalt.

i have asked many questions like this myself and to be honest with you only peeps can recremend a starting point.for what i was told to run for a fdr i did.and to find out i was overgeared.i would ask anybody that usues the same bl motor..ask then what there fdr is.more than likely they have it figured out.go to gearchart.com and click on gearchart creator...do the numbers and compare gear ratio with what the other guys at your track run....this should help you ouit alot...i hope anyways...

The best thing you can do is get the PRS gear adapter so you can use smaller tooth Spurs, like 108 and 110 Kimbrough/Robinson Spurs...or just get PRS Spur Gears 112T so you can get lower FDR.

What would you guys remommed gearing a co27 for a high bite carpet track, right now my gearing is 108 spur and 42 pinion. it has great top end but is really slow off the line.

Not sure what size track or tire, but for stock i have always been in the range of 128/34-38, sounds like you are rather over geared.
