Does anyone have a setup for short arms? Ive tried a few of the setups that have been posted but notice that they are all for long arms...
currently using graphite JRXS short arms, with hinges in the outermost pivots.
I run on a tight, medium bite carpet.

Can you change the timing on your Orion 3.5 for more torque and move to larger pinions?

I tried running short arms a few times, but my car always felt better with long. More traction and more cornerspeed. It would be a good idea to pick some up. Untill then, id basically just run the car a little softer.

I think both are important, but a nice looking car is meaningless if it doesn't perform well. And I did have a similar problem to you running a small spur. I was able to correct it by changing the size of my gears, which it seems you can't do in your situation. I believe you're the guy Novak is making the 13mm rotor for, because it will let people use bigger gears on their 3.5's.

i know what you mean i already had the timing advanced but i need it to go down 1 more teeth on the pinion to get the sweet spot!! I now have the correct spurs so no more need of the getto dremel!!! ps i dont run novak motors any more

What difference could you tell between the novak 3.5 and your current one?
