how are you breaking ea3 arms but not the graphite? i ran both materials on the mid motor car and the ea3 was by far more forgiving. the newer arms looks even beefier.
i've got a decent stash of the older bk arms though, but hopefully i won't need them.

We have used the short rear arms a few times to free up the car and get more steering, so it is certainly do-able if you need to figure out something to get through a race day. If you put short arms all around on the car it would have a similar balence just a bit less traction, and could get you back on the track.
As for the new arms breaking easier, it seems a fluke. I have broken more of the graphite then the ea3, and the guys who already have the new car in my area have "tested" them pretty well with no hitches yet.

I tell you that the arm I had was lets say on the weak side, I have hit the walls alot harder with the JRXS arms and not broken the car at all. Longer arms are more acceptable to being broke though, more leverage against them. Your track might have a little more forgiving flappers or the angle you guys hit maybe more on the front bumper side, but mine was a side scrape and took the front arm off at the hinge pin. I ordered a P-Dub bumper and a BRB bumber brace so hopefully this will lessen the damage.

Malc,
Lap times did come down a little from last club meeting using Scythe, improved by about 8 seconds.
Best improvement is the lap time are more consistant from lap to lap.
Last final the car felt like it was getting faster each lap I drove.
Will have a list of changes to try at WL on Monday, will start with lowest
roll centers.

Been running the Scythe for a few months now, while waiting for
type R to come out.
Found the new car has more grip making it more consistant in
lap times for me.
Do you know if Try Hard has built his yet.

do you use a connector to the battery or do you solder
This is what I did with battery ...[QUOTE]I got this from jason [QUOTE] This works pretty well...........................................Now I have a question for anyone if I broke one rear arm would i change that with the short arm or do I have to put short on both... this is until I get ea3 arms from horizon

Use short arm on both sides. Your car will not handle consistently with one long arm and one short arm. Its kind of like having one leg shorter by a few inches.
