With the outdoor season starting up, I wanted to be ready. We still have carpet racing all year, but race some asphalt when it's warm as well. I'm ready to try some mod on the big outside tracks!

For those who pm'd me and anyone else interested, this is the setup i have ran the past few weeks and it seems to run well. I have driven it in stock, 19 , and mod and would say its a good starter. It steers ALOT

I honestly couldn't tell you...a better bet would be starting with what Kevin posted last page.

The tow is never the same from left to right.I have 3deg. on left and 2deg. on right. You would think losi would get it right this time .Also did anyone check how much play in the sus.arms there is.Left front was decent but the right was loose.I had to shim to take some of the play out.The rear arms were like this also.Did anyone have these problems?

Laterz.

I have checked this one and mine is 3 degrees per side and both are equal.

I know the car comes with a carpet setup but did the team drivers use that exact setup at the carpet nats? If they were different, are the setups posted anywhere???

I watched Andrew Gray's car at the nats and it had a lot of corner speed. Just wondering if there were any mods made to the carpet setup. CEFX is my home track so it would be nice to drop the car on the track with a proven setup.
I will post my set up for you as soon as I figure out how to fill out a set up sheet online(i'm kinda dumb when it comes to these new fangled computer things)

hey guys,

Can someone with a kit do me a favour, and measure the distance between the inner and outer mount holes on the suspension blocks (in mm please).

Looking at the manual, it looks like on the front arms you can use the the outer holes (1 and 4) on the front mount, and the inner (2 and 3) on the rear, giving a bit of arm sweep.
Looks like the same with the rear arms, front in holes 1 or 4, rear in 2 or 3, enabling to run a little less toe. Just trying to calculate how much by...

3degs seems like a bit much for stock racing, so want to run a reduced level before I can get the 1deg option mounts.

Cheers
Ed

You can run either .5* or 1* hubs backwards to reduce the rear toe also. I know that 3* seems like alot but this car likes the rear toe, I have tried reducing it for 19t and went back to 3*. When reduced the car did not feel more free in the turn, rather it just lost stability and entry steering. (

Maybe the guy had the arms spaced differently left to right? Maybe left was back and right was forward?
