Wow...Well, Good Luck to Barry and where ever his new ventures may lead him.
--->This can't possibly bode well for Associated and the new car.

I'm a big AE fan but with them hemmoraging talent you have to wonder what's going on. I've been many places and usually talent leaving the company signals the end of something.

Antonio Sabato 08-09-2006 07:11 AM

Who is Baker?

He’s an amazing driver but he has too many mental hang-ups during races that cause him to lose his game. Maybe the confidence of having a car that actually works will help with that.

First and Foremost I would like to thank Team Associated for 5 great years of support...to everyone working there to all my teammates throughtout the years at AE a big thanks!

I just want everyone to know that this was a mutual decision that is best for both AE and myself.....

Where I will be next?....Well right now I am just seeing what is best for me for my future not only in racing but also beyond racing......

So when everything is worked out I am sure that you will find out before I do thanks to the internet......LOL

Who says Barry left? Maybe it wasnt his decision. I don't know for sure, so i'm not saying thats what happened... but its a possibility.

EAMotorsports 08-09-2006 07:23 AM

Frank McKinney 08-09-2006 07:47 AM

Well Matt & Mark Francis, Jimmy Jacobson, etc., have left and retired or semi-retired and it sounds like Barry's thinking of the same thing? Well good luck with whatever you do!

Some topical cream will alleviate that. :weird:

This probably has a lot to do with his music career.

Look forward to seeing you hopefully back at The Track in Maryland. Good luck to you and all your endeavors.

DavidAlford 08-09-2006 08:28 AM

I'm still your friend Barry. No matter what car you drive. You'll always have that at least

hayabusa 08-09-2006 09:43 AM

Alonzo is going to McLaren next year so there's an empty seat at Renault.

The catch is; he'll have to switch from Marlboros to Mild Sevens.
