Default BMI and T2R match made in heaven?

Im particularly interested in knowing how the t2r composite diff halves will hold up in 19T racing. If all goes well, I think I have just found my new touring car.................

"met een wattenstaafje wat in menige dames-toiletuitrusting tot de standaarduitrusting behoort" classical statement ..............

Not sure why they would not hold up... My TC3,Yok SD used comp diffs and held up just fine in 19t on carpet..... IF your gonna run a spool or oneway i would not use comp parts but for those items you would be likely not be re-using the original diff parts anyway.

I dont think RCAmerica has received them yet. My understanding they are the only distributor for US sales. I have one on preorder through my LHS and that is who they ordered it from.

What a price.... damn thats about the same as I remember the p.o.s. tc4 going for at my lhs, and no comparison (in quality) for sure. I'll be interested to see how they (ae) price the BD in light of cars like this. Xray has done well on this one. I think that frp chassis will work nice on asphalt..... call bmi if you need the carpet chassis!

Got mine...

first thoughts:

diffs are a bitch to build
no multi diff
no alu stiffening posts
composite bits look ok

* The multi-diff/diff aluminum & spring steel components have been replaced with another material (waiting for confirmation of the material type)
the layshaft is so light I cant see it being hollowed out would make much of a difference.
both diffs are fully composite, no steel, no oneway
shocks are composite,
Also got lightened drive shafts (same as T2, with hold drilled through end), which I didnt expect

looking forward to giving it a run...

Well, according to my LHS, RCAmerica is (or has already) received the first shipment this week (if all goes well). Should be in the major LHSs by week's end (finger's crossed).

BTW, the advertised LHS price for the U.S. is $199.00.
