Neh I mostly race in the stock 23t motor class.

It would be quite a long time before I enter the modified class.

I do realise that the belt driven cars are well suited for modified motors.

But I would like to try a shafter this time.

Why for the stock class, using the Pro 4 is better than the Yokomo SD???

I had a PRO 4....Great car, hands down.....but I am in US, racing indoor carpet and outdoor as well. I have to say, the PRO 4 are better running outdoor, rubber or foams, stock, 19T or MOD are just as good...

I used the PRO 4 with 8T V2 running outdoor foams and rubber....car was just great. And the main reason I pick Pro 4......cause I am in US, getting HPI parts from Tower or any local hobby shop is just as easy as getting AE parts.

However, getting YOKOMO parts here....almost impossilbe, or at least, I cannot just go to the shop and pick up, always need to rely on mail order and internet, which I am not prefer.

The best deal...buy a new one, and look for a used one ($150-200 tops) with options for parts..........a lot of ppl running these car on carpet all the time, so their Pro 4 are very new and not damage, just need to spot one.

Yea I noe there are a few good deals from ebay.

But how can I get them???

I don't even have a credit card. Both my parents don't use credit cards.

Its so difficult to find a second hand one. Btw how much would it cost to ship a car from the USA to Malaysia??? Just a guess would help though!!!

I've owned and raced both, and I would take the Pro 4 over the SD. Mainly because the Pro 4 comes with enough additional tuning options(C-hubs, suspension blocks, etc...) right in the box, that it is simply a better value.

I had very little breakage with either car, so I'd rate them about the same there. The Pro 4 seemed to have an edge in handling for me, but thats objective.

Really the only downside to the Pro 4 was that (when I got it) it had horrible parts support issues. But thats not an issue now that the car has been out for so long.

If I wasn't so happy with my TA05, then I would definitely be driving a Pro 4.
