Hey AdrianM did you ever ask your friend what he needed to do to run the take off tires on his RDX? They definately dont fit on the front when your turn. It rubs against the A-Arm.

AdrianM, hate to ask but what tire would you recommend for the Tamiya track in the September time frame (KO Race). I'm leaning to Sorex 36Rs but am curious about the RP36s. Medium/Firm insert on either one. Sound about right?

I have a small question about the tire wear of the RP30 tires.
I normally run the CS27 tire and they are long lasting (I can drive the whole winterseason on 2 to 3 sets), But I'd like to try the RP30's.
I know they are more designed for racing so they won't last as long as a CS27, but can someone tell me how long they last on carpet (couldn't find an answer on the board)?
It should be more than on asphalt (4 to 8 runs).

I run sorex tires and for med-high traction i would use 28r and i use the red hpi inserts. 24's wear to quick but work good for low traction with same insert.

why does a flexible rim make it faster? does a flexible rim generally generate more traction than a stiff one? thats the area i am not a 100% sure on ... all things being equal (tire, insert), will a more flexy rim give more traction vs a rigid one? and will one type generate more tire heat? where would you use one type of rim vs the other?

another thing to add or ask. . . . . .

if the nylon rims are flexible. . . . .

Will it will loose it's "true" / "balance" after several runs????

thereby causing a wobbling in the wheel later on???
