Manufacturers were kind enough to show and let people touch, but clearly said no pics please.

I can’t wait until everybody can see this car. You’re really going to love it just off the visuals

I wonder how much, if anything, has changed since worlds.

kentech 02-25-2025 12:19 PM

Just posted these two.
Something to look at while we wait for the launch :)

looks like the rear body mounting is now a permanent solution.

I would hope the screws hold on a rod on the inside that slips into a hole. I would not like having to screw the body on every time.

You can see body clips in the photo. Possibly a mount on the body that is permanently attached and is held on the chassis with a body clip.

Yea that would be annoying after every run. It looks like the body post spacing is narrower for the mtc3. When I saw it during the worlds, the rear body mounts looked like repurposed awsomatix ones.

The old body mount braced together the rear bulkheads but also put load into them.

Having a separate body mount to the chassis removes any coupling (I could never notice) plus it doubles as a bumper / anti-tuck device.

Nice ideas.

Love to see some more blurry photos, LOL!

Just fabricate a bumper like Bert, and you'll be ok...

on my sp1, I removed the screws for the bumper brace part and it made rear more stable. Not necessarily more grip but it made it more a little more forgiven to rough inputs.
