The bigger spur is 100T with the smallest pinion 23T and inside ratio 2,4375 final 10,5978 ratio. This for low brushless guys.

Anyway, just came back from my first meeting with the Evo5... pretty awesome to say the least.
Started the day basically as kit, bar a couple of exceptions. Didn't run the roll bars, and used Tamiya white on the front, and blue on the rear. Also ran X/E on the rear (2.5deg toe in) Kept the 1-ways in as I was running on carpet (hence the setup changes).
Wow.... car has so much steering, I had to adjust the expo a fair bit on the transmitter to calm it down, and adjust my driving.
Made one change to the car during the day, and that was to move the rear camber link to the outer hole on the hub. This worked a treat, and made the rear of the car transition much better, ment I could lean on the car more into the turns.
Ended up TQing each round, and won the first final.... unfortuantly got clipped a pipe in the second and stripped the spur...
Still was comfortably the fastest car there, most of my final lap times were sub 10sec, and everyone else was above 10...
I think this car is going to be perfect for what I have in mind for it (indoor stock racing)... If the MRE MSX handles like this, gonna be awesome

Wheel hexes, 5mm width, 0.5mm spacers.
Camber links, out hole on bulkhead F/R, 3mm under front link, 2mm under rear.
1.5mm under rear hub ball joint (middle hole)
ackerman position, no spacers on steering bridge, rear hole on steering hub.
One thing to note.... the steering horn setup is a little different. Basically, Looking at the servo from the front, mount the ball joint in the middle hole, but zero it up on the left hole (as on the diagram). You also need to chop off the right hand section of the horn.

Yes my friend, without any modification you can use 100T spur with 23T pinion 64 pitch. The only problem is that you can't use the aluminum heat-sink for the motor, because there is no space from the upper deck to the motor.
motor heat sink is no problem , it can be dremeled

I have a question. Does the Damper Stays from the evo 5 fit also the evo 4 ?
The gap between the holes is lokking very similar then the evo 4 ones.
