The higher the number the higher the temp the tire can handle. If its 60degs you might want a 28. If its 90 degs out, a 34 would work better.

I ran my TC5 on rubber tires this weekend and it was good but I had a very bad off power push though. Overall I enjoyed the car. Can't wait to start tweaking.

I'm getting my tc5 soon!!! can't wait

yes conectors are worthless unless its your first rc and your going to be upgrading motors soon.

but your pass that level so cut thise motor wires off and direct solder the esc to the motor. its not a big diffrence but your motor wires will be warm or cool. not hot like conecters.

if i were you ill get the novak super sport plus. its coulf run a stock brushless (19turn) or a motor down to 12turn to 27 turn. its 7cell and its pretty sweet. bad part that's its kinda big but it looks cool

Anyone have a good setup for rubber asphalt?

I am running a CO27, with a Novak sport reversible ESC, some Fusion 4200's, and a Hitec 645 servo. Can't jump into the brushless stuff yet.

Any better servo recommendations for under $50? How about ESC?

I should solder the ESC motor wires directly to the motor for lowest resistance?

there is nothing wrong with connectors if you solder them correctly, I've been using this type of connectors on all my motors for the past 2 years with no issues.Plus it takes me less about 1 minute to change motors

The first adjustment to make is to get a p-dub bumper if it doesnt already have one.

VERY nice setup!!!! but in a pro's point of veiw that's resistants.

if you want the most from your cells and motor power. you MUST direct solder your cells to the esc and direct solder esc to motor.

but in your case if your switching classes at your track deans are the best1!!! i use those on all my cells. good choice to pro power!

do silver cans fit the tc5 perfect?
