Now your killing me I was racing a 99 ZX9 in 03 at Willow "the fastest road in the west" and winning on occation against the big mean GSXR 1000s. Spotting 25 horse and 40lbs of bike not to mention my own 200lbs.
Much like our hobby it's all about the driver/rider.
you raced a zx9! Nice! I never saw any racing on the east side. I miss my old zx6r, rip.
Yep all about the skill really until you get to running w/ folks that are all about the same skill, then those extra ponies matter. I've smoke many a 1ks on the tighter tracks were braking and corner speed mattered like Barber & Jennings....at the same time I"ve been smoked by great rider on dailed 750.
Sorry for the thread jackn...back to 4 wheels.

Here is a new setup for you guys to try if you want.
I feel that this is the best I have had my car.

Possibly need to free up the drive train, or the CV's are binding when going through the curves. you might try adjusting your rollcenters also and that may also help

Hi Josh,
Do you have a standard setup that you would begin with -for Rubber - Asphalt for low and medium grip tracks.
Thanks
Doug

I'll see if I can get Keven to put his latest setup on an actual sheet but until then I think this is very close.

I would try Ricks setup from the Reedy race last year.
