Will it accommodate the Core 5000s?

it was built around the SMC5000's, which seem to be a pretty large pack, and there was a little extra width allowed in the lips that captivate the battery. If you have dimensions for the Core Packs, I could check for you.... cdee

Criticial dimension is the width. Plate will accomodate up to 46.8mm. Length is not criticial as there are no lips on the ends. As far as height, this plate adds 2.50mm to the height of the battery, so you would need to have that much clearance with out the plate installed.... cdee

Cdee and I worked very closely on this so that it would accommodate all of the LIPOs that we could get our hands on at the time. We built it around the trinity, SMC4000/5000, Reedy, Orion4800, Checkpoint, Thunderpower5000.

What is great about this plate is that it does not attach itself to the batteries at all and it also keeps the battery clear of the belt.

Here is how it works:
Slide in LIPO weight
Slide in the battery
Attach strapping tape.
Done!

Hope that you guys will find it as useful as I do...makes the whole LIPO weight issue go away!!!!

In Vegas I was running 94/41 with the Novak 13.5 with a rubber tire car. The 94 was a Precision racing systems spur!

17.5 I was running 94/50 and they all fit just fine.

+1 on either, I use the 96 with no problems. Would like to find a 94, though.
