I believe Rick posted they do come with the new kits. If you look at them you will have slots at just about 180 degrees vs about 120 degrees.

I have found that the single change that has the biggest effect on this characteristic of a spool is changing the front kickup/antidive, with max kick up you get the most entry steering/least exit steering, and with the max antidive you get the least entry steering/most exit steering.

Do you think o-rings under the rear top deck makes a noticeable difference?

I have a LRP TC spec with a Team Orion 10.5. I was wondering what other Spec/ TC5 users have for TC spec settings?

Yes, the make the car flex a lot more. Build up the TC5 with the ITF chassis (std top plate) and lost 4 screws of the top plate. that made the car flex "nice". Build up the TC5R with the O-rings and it has the strengt of a rubber band. It flexed like hell. Lost the rubber O-rings and blue spacers. Now it is flexing like my TC5. I'm going to try the rubber bands only at the rear, but the TC5R has standart a lot more flex.

Using in my TC5R an Nosram Matrix Evolution with 5 cell Nosram Battery's and a 4.5T Nosram Bushless or a 19T Element (depends on the type of race ). Sometime's i'm also using an 9.5T Nosram Dragon.
And in my TC5 i'm using a Nosram Prototype ESC, with an High Velocity 19T spec motor (my training car).

Hmm maybe they where not in mij TC5R kit.
I did the following thing. My Layshaft holders of my TC5 are sanded a bit, so the free up the layshaft. When I was building my TC5R I took them out of my TC5 and replaced them at my TC5R. But after that I sanded the new layshaft holders and put them back in my TC5. Then i didn't hat to change my gearing so the layshaft is at the same hieght with my new layshaft holders.
Before I replaced them I put them next to each other and measured them. There was no difference. So I'm for sure they are not in my kit but if that's standart....

No problem Treemagnet!

Yesterday I wanted to try the TC5R for the first time, but it was raining cat's and dog's. So... I was just having a good time at the race track without driving :P.

I'm driving a lot of stock, not that much modified. Here in Holland a lot of tracks are a bit understeered. So there is a lot of steer in my car. If you want to get rit of that, try softer springs at the rear, more toe at the rear and other ackermann settings.

Hope this workes:

Checked both manuals. Number of the TC5 Standart Layshaft mounts:
31163 (according to the manual)
Number of the TC5R Layshaft mounts:
31163 (according to the manual)
So I'm sorry but don't think the lower versions are in the box... Or, your just lucky

Greetings Robert

With stock I have the heighest punch mode (6 if i'm correct with the 2007 software).
With modified 1:10 it depends on the track, but normally 3 or 4.
1:12 modified i'm driving puch controle at 1

Dragbrake = always 0
Internal brake = always 0

And always at NIMH mode because we drive 5 cells.
