Default Your right...

[QUOTE=hobbipro]
It might be a rebadge Yokomo BD using imperial screws.

I'll take it! Its a darn good car, that will make parts support even sweeter!
Seriously, the shocks need major attention, gone are the days of just having the shock bodies hold just enough oil to make it till the end of the day before theyve leaked out. We need "tamiya" style with smooth as glass finishes and easy to rebuild trackside.
Parts have to be beefed up, I gave my TC4 up due to primarliy part breakage/easily worn out running mod.
We need a car that can hold up to mod.

Yokomo shocks

You must remember that as long as Yokomo exists, there will not be an Associated 4WD to compete against the Yokomo.

Why not? Yokomo has a shaft drive.

I wonder what the actual sales have been for the FT TC4, I only know of 1 guy at the local track with one. Everyone else has the new T2's, Pro4's, Schumacher MI2's. I can see this rummor being true if sales are poor, AE needs a serious overhaul since the FT didnt meet most racers expectations, especially with a price tag almost close to "luxury" R/C cars. If they make there own belted TC, I'd probably try one.

Ya Killin me Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO

This is so funny. Every 6 months or so someone tires to start a rumor about AE coming out with a belt car. In all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me, but without anything other than one guy saying he heard about it, (not trying to attack anyones credibility) there's a thread with 20+ posts and over 750 views in less than 5 hours. Hey, I looked

It's a US company and it's parts are way cheaper than Corally or XRay...that was the point. I could care less if the parts are originally made in Taiwan (Formosa).

I've heard things from an AE guy in VERY high places that this is true. However if I was to say who it was he'd probably fly to NC just to break my knees with a bat.

Late '06 , early '07 mark my words.

Actually, Team Associated is now owned by Thunder Tiger and Thunder Tiger is a Taiwaneese company, so that makes Team Associated a Taiwaneese company as well!!
