In talking with bob at the halloween classic and the novak , i did ask him a few questions and one was about the chassis and top decks, cause until the classic i hant seen the top deck they were running there. In the early pictures of the car they did have the ITF top deck, as they were running rubber tire asphalt ( on oad nats and worlds ). As far as the chassis if i remember right from what bob had said it was just going to be a thinner version of the factory team chassis that comes with the kit. Its been a while so dont quote me on that..

I am sure rick, juho, or brandon would know they have all run rubber tire with the car.

The car is very rigid in the kit form....perfect for high grip and foam tires (if you couldn't tell from the photos with foamies). The Team raced the "kit" car at all of the foam tire events this year.

For rubber tire asphalt racing, the Team has been using the ITF chassis and top deck.

@AE Drivers:

Is there any Chance to become FLEX in the Chassie without the ITF Chassie KIT? Wehn the car is in my hand i will drive on Asphalt with Rubber and cant wait 2 more weeks for the ITF Chasse Kit :-)
So tell me Guys, is there an option that i can become more Flex with the normal in Stock Chassie??? Using O-Rings, like Juho???

Greetings,
Marcel

You can use O-rings in rear with the standard chassis.

With ITF kit i have not tested so much.... but at the LRP Masters i used also it with O-rings.

But it was very slippy in start and i didn't tryied without when the grip finally came.

At asphalt i suggest to start with using O-rings.....

with fttc4 we used to cut out center in standard top deck for more flex, still didnt flex as much as itf chassis, but when bite is up on asphalt, used itf bottom with standard top and center spine

Kevin, just hold tight, I am sure there will tons of pics throughout the RROC, as everyone there will be using the production car. Counting down the days .

Can anyone offer up any news as to when the car will be released yet? I know it will be soon. Think it will be out before RROC? I hope so...

I called associated today and talked to customer service. All the parts are in from the factories and associated is putting the boxes together as we speak. Also, the itf chassis will also ship as a option part and will be availible at the release. Going buy what I was told, I would say sould be out to the wholesale within the next 7 to 10 days if not sooner. I ordered from towerhobbies, i bet mine get shipped around the 23/34 of May. Also, the TC Spec LRP Brushless should be out but the end of the month as well. Associated is just wating the shipment.

There is only kit coming out with option chassis components. There will be no asphalt version

This is the same thing they did with the Factory Team TC4
