I've never in my life seen so many aftermarket parts for a single car.

I made this same comment somewhere else earlier in the week and in included the additional comment "except for maybe the OG RC10."

on the other hand, what are "A Must" upgrade, can someone really name a list please?

Cosmetically
1.
2.

Functionally:
1.
2.

understood that the comment might be subjective, it gives idea to some extent
i am really planning to buy a MTC2, but having too many options with unknown functionality, that makes me staying away from acquiring a new EP again, instead staying with my MRX6X makes my life simple

For asphalt, you really don’t absolutely need anything functional besides some tuning springs, and I would change the set screws for stainless so you don’t have any break.

For carpet the only real additional functional thing i would recommend is the rcmaker 1.6mm split top decks.

so those new options in the market are functionally not essential for asphalt.

feel relief after seeing that, as i tried to search from redrc, there are so many different decks, screws, weight,....per my experience with mugen's gp, mugen will only produce necessary options after testing..
can you please be specific what grub screw, all of them or which of them please!!!

3x8 for front lower shock mount
3x10 for rear lower shock mount
3x12 for front upper shock mount
3x16 for rear upper shock mount

I'd also recommend getting the bulkhead brace for the front since it flexes a ton, also helps with alignment

I agree with pretty much everything everyone else said, the only thing I would add for asphalt is the Mugen split top decks. (A2159) They have been consistently faster for myself and most guys who have tried them around here. I would note that I typically run on higher grip asphalt tracks, so it may be different in lower grip conditions.

The bulkhead stiffener has worked well for me as well, although the RCMaker medium flex felt better for me. It was a good in-between between no brace and the Mugen brace.
