Any tips on mounting a fan? Pretty limited real-estate around the motor. 😊

See post #308. You can screw a 30x10mm fan on the rear pod.

Finally was able to test out the Ultra after the lock down was lifted and I have to say this is easily the easiest and fastest F1 car Ive driven. I was running Volante's blue fronts and yellow rear, a setup that resulted in MASSIVE understeering on my other F1 cars, and was able to take corners way faster. There are still some understeer but that could be fixed with some softer springs.

The braking performance was surprising as well. Without even checking tweak, the car was able to brake in a straight line and very manageable when it starts getting out of hand. Not sure if its because if the panhard bar and side link setup, but gave me a lot of confidence braking for the hairpin at the end of the straight.

Time to sell off my others F1 now

For those of you wanting the impossible to find Slapmaster caster tool, check with Brandon at Genesis R/C, they have the rights to make an improved version. They are available in the 1/8" and 3mm versions. I have mine already! Sweet product for sure!

do they work with F1? seeing how they are more for 1/12th scale, im sure it would affect the caster somewhat when measuring larger cars like F1

Can you make an option to include both 1/8" and 3mm kingpin adaptors?

we thought about that in the design process and ruled it out. after these new ones are assembled they are calibrated on a tool we designed. That’s one of the reasons we added the stops so the steel wire indicator wouldn’t get damaged. in the process of disassembly and assembly over and over again the wire and barrel could see some wear and tear.

sorry I missed that question. Yes it should work with cars that used front kingpins.

Mike, do we have to buy the 10g brass wing mount in order to use the upgraded CF mount? will there be an option not to use a brass weight if we choose not to?

Edit: Actually never mind, I forgot the stock wing mount detaches from the arm, Could just use the plastic piece instead.

Default R4020 caster stand off

if you are in a crash and bend this piece make sure you check your chassis. My chassis is cracked where it screws to the chassis. Does not help when you are board sided by another car right on that piece. But that is a weak link in the chassis. Just beware. Looks like my big trophy race this weekend came to a sudden halt. This really sucks.
