What’s up guys just got my if14-2 and haven’t heard much about it on high traction black carpet. Is anyone here been successful with it on carpet? Just been seeing a lot of asphalt talk.
thanks

Here's a decent place to start from( it's also posted up on wallacemotorsports.net) for med black carpet. It was somewhat hot in the building which seemed to never let the grip come up beyond medium but overall was easy to drive and yielded fast and consistent lap times...

If the grip is low at your track, the 4.5 will give you more corner speed. moving the hinge pin position inward allows the car to change direction faster. Your track width will be around 186 front and 184 rear. On high bite carpet, like the CRC black carpet its a no go. The car will traction roll of the track. We found 188/186 to work really well on the black carpet!!
