Nice looking kit. For the price of these kits these days, they should come with both aluminum and carbon chassis.

I have the carbon kit that I won in a raffle.
I have yet to start building it. Wallace Motorsports has them in stock.

Yeah, I think the only person who has done that is Jilles Groskamp a few months ago.

The kit looks beautiful and highly refined but holy cow it's expensive. Honestly, I wanted to buy it but it is hard to justify choosing this over an Awesomatix when it doesn't have some of the latest design trends that Xray has. Still, I'm looking forward to regular racer feedback on this gorgeous car!

The car actually has other creative innovations and they went with a variation of the current mid motor trend. From what I've read, they found through testing that the equal length belts posed some problems and their solution was to move the spur close to the middle of the chassis but not equally and concentrate the weight better for equal balance. Their explanation seemed to make sense but unfortunately, there hasn't been much regular guy feedback as of yet.

Whats the latest design trends in the X-ray besides equal belt length? Awesomatix def is ahead of the design but the if-142 got some new stuff as well.
