I would say one "must haves" is definitely the drive cup protectors. They break on light to medium collision. But the good thing is that they are only a few bucks for 4. I keep 8-12 of those as spares.

The rest of spare parts are the usual: arms, cHubs, steering knuckles.

For tuning option, you'll need the rear 1.3 sway bar. the kit comes with 1.2. Plus a few spring sets to start. Namely the 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8 linear. 2.5-2.8, 2.5-3.0 progressive.

I am still driving the bd10 and I think it's very competitive. good luck and have fun with the car!

Yokomo BD11 Carbon kit from rcmart.com is $549 USD and aluminum kit is $609 USD. Express shipping is roughly $40 and arrives in a week. Saves you roughly $100 than buying from Amain. I've been ordering from rcmart.com, mibosport.com, michael's rc and amain for BD11 parts.

anyone know if the shocks on the BD9 are the same as the BD10?

Some of the shock parts are but looks like probably very slightly shorter bodies and shafts. Honestly id guess bd9 shocks would work no problem but the bd10 does have some different shock parts so I'm guessing they are a bit shorter to save weight maybe.

if you download the manuals and compare parts lists, you'll find the bd10 is still hugely bd9 parts, some are still bd8 and even bd7 parts (p/ns start with B7, B8, B9 etc) Even the bd11 still has many bd9 etc parts.
