How different is a Tamiya 'Torque Tuned' 540 from a regular Silver can?

Thanks

Default Silver can on newer touring car.

Talk about necro post. I'm trying to mount a silver can in a modern touring car chassis. Just tried and couldn't due to it only having 2 mounting holes. How are the tcs guys doing it. Hmm..

TCS guys are usually running Tamiya kits that are designed to mount the silver can.

Im here in 2024, about to start racing in possibly the most popular class in the UK at the moment (minis, not Tamiya ones) and we're still (just about) using brushed, bushed motors (and NiMh cells!)

Thanks for all the info in this thread so far.
