that's quite heavy from my POV (because I consider that FWD should be below 1000g lol) but it should be quite efficient with 13.5

yea the amx can’t get as light as the front motor cars can due to the ballast weight it uses inside the bumper to move the cg to the front

it’s a 2s pack but it’s the same case size as the 1s packs (EA motorsports 4K) I don’t quite understand why they make them so heavy for the class at iic the other races in the USA will mostly likely be using 1200

They are a super punchy shorty pack with low IR. They also work awesome in Mod TC on smaller tracks. Larger tracks need more MAH.

Good weekend of practice with A800FX. Very consistent car. Once the car 'broke in' it really came alive.

Any tips on methods to measuring/setting 'UpTravel'? All input welcome.

Which one to get? The 4000mAh or the 4300 mAh? 4300mAh has been out of stock for a while now.

I usually use standard ride height gauge on a setup bord , or calipers and measure from the top of the axle , Rod showed that way .

what ive done the few times I’ve used it (tho normally don’t use any set screws ) I push the car down fully compressing the car in race trim against the flat surface and adjust the screws to where they just barely touch each Aarm I want to say the idea of them is to keep the spro2 from contacting the dampiner holder I don’t really want to bend a arm either

Ive always wondered what the upstop measurement was. I assume it is the screw that goes in the top of the bracket that straddles the arm and supports the roll bar. When I was playing with up stop changes i measured the distance between each thread of the screw. If it was .2mm then every revolution out is .2mm. To figure out the starting point I rant the screw all the way in until a .01 shim would drag on the screw and then I counted turns reverse turns. Didn’t seem to make much of a difference for me but i didnt spend allot of time on it. Locking the arms down with the set screw does help me measure flex if im making changes to get more or less flex.

Upstop is not needed to set in my opinion.
We never run upstop with our setups as its not needed.
