If I'm wanting to run 1* of toe out is it 1* on the left and right or is it it a 1/2* on the left and right for a total of 1*?

Toe is usually per side. Total toe is the sum of both sides.

1 degree of toe out is 1 on the left and 1 on the right.

It dose make sense . depending what your looking for .. and track conditions. more straight line speed or corner speed . Ive always run 1degree on the left and right ,a little less depending on track conditions ..and car feel ..
