Good to hear you got it. Regarding the scuff marks on the bottom, if you really wanted to you could probably get it polished. A guy here spilled CA glue on his 414M chassis and filed it off and re-polished it at a machine shop.

I've just replaced all the balljoints and ballstuds in the steering of my SP.
When it came time to do the long shank, silver ballstuds from the servo and bellcrank, I noticed there was a lot of slop in these(From new) and not in the black shorter ballstuds.
Pretty much all the slop in the steering was from these two silver ballstuds, so I replaced one with the shorter black type and will figure something out for the other on the bellcrank as it needs to be a little taller.

Simon, I noticed the same thing. I used Losi ballstuds, shimmed them to the right height and Losi ballcups. They seem to be more durable, and having had them on there for a year, there is still no slop in that part of the suspension.

What are you guys using for the front carrier ball stud in the Tosilini setup. I tried a regular but longer one but the carrier slops around and wears out the steering block hole.

I used a tamiya ballstud and cup, you have to drill the top hole in the castor block out a little bit, but it works.

Unfortunately, I think you can only get the tamiya ones in a 15 dollar steering set. I got mine from a friend who runs a tamiya and had some sitting around.

Yokomo has the kingping ballstud setup. I believe the part number is ZR-007.

Yeah I know, but as soon as Tosolini started doing that, their stock was gone very fast I tried to get the yoke ones but couldn't, so the tamiya ones work.

i will have a yok again in a few days. i used to have one but i traded it away but now i am getting a new one. it is worlds edition. i was thinking of getting the penguin edition chassis for it. is that chassis okay? lmk what i should start buying for it other than springs and tires and stuff. it has both oneways. i will be racing at Speed World Raceway if any of you guys know any good setups for the track.

I would buy the special conversion for it. It is cheaper and you get more stuff.

You'll be pretty much set with a worlds converted to special, you should end up with everything the full blown special kit has.

The only things I can think of are spare parts (arms, rear bulkhead etc.) if you're LHS doesn't stock them, and some tuning options such as 3 degree castor blocks, and the yokomo kingpins with ballstuds on them.

MisFit You definately choose the right track for set up info from drivers. We are lucky at SWR that we have both Jason Moberly and Alex Seimantel that both run for Yokomo. Both of them are extremly friendly about set up advice and will help you out on it. BTW when you start racing look for a teenager that everyone talks about kitties about and runs a silver and pink body....That would be me and can help you out as much I can. Also try www.mo-net.ws I belive. Its mo website and he has some good set ups to try. Anyways see ya out at SWR

i am a teenager too. how old are you i am 14. i cant wait to race at swr. i knew they had factory drivers. i know if i was a factory driver i would race their. it is a really nice track! i am going to live like 10 minutes away from the track when i move up there. well thanks guys

There's been quite a bit of talk about the Kingpin Ballstud conversion but I have not found an explanation as to what exactly it does to the handling of the car.

Also what is the conversion that can be done to the rear hubs and what effect does this have on handling.
