Questions??

Was in a bad crash last week and broke 3 parts. Now that chassis is bent. The steering assembly rubs and the top 2 screw on the front bulk head dont line up. I can install it bending the chassis. A couple questions . I have decided I will most likely need to replace the chassis. I have tried to bend it back but I am afraid the chassis will get weaker and bend again on another crash.
Would aluminum servo mounts help make front end more durable in a front end crash?

What is the handling difference? I'm running a 3.0 in mod medium to high bite clay.
Will they lose any grip?

I'm not Frank, however, I feel the car carries more corner speed with the stiffer arm material and feels more consistent. I have been running the stiffer material in low to high bite with no problems.

My apologies if this has been mentioned before but will the 4.0 front end interchange with the 2.0? 1/10 off-road is dead here but oval is alive and well and street stock only allows rear motor buggies.

Thanks! That's actually what I'm looking for-more corner speed.

Yes it is interchangeable, however, make sure you buy part #TLR234048 or #TLR234085 to go along with the arms.

Random question.....can anyone confirm the width of the TLR aluminum "Standard" sized rear wheel hexes (TLR2930). I assume it is around 5mm, but can't find that information via any searches on here. Looking to get a set for a project I'm working on, and would like to get the set that gives me about 6mm width, so was not sure if I should go standard, +.75, or +1.5.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've not seen a chassis bend like that, probably a one off. Yes, once it is bent, then it can probably bend easier again in a wreck.

What other parts broke in this wreck?

It makes the car feel more stable, as if it was a heavier car, but without loosing any speed. It also lands WAY better.

What other parts broke in this wreck?
front bulkhead
Front shock tower
Front camber block
aluminum servo horn was bent beyond saving.
The accident happened when my servo gears went out and I went full speed into the wall when I couldn't turn. I had Victor (manager) tried to bend it back into place but the screws dont line up with the top of the servo mounts no matter what I try. Ican force it into place for the time being but I plan on replacing the chassis too now.

Yeah, that's a pretty nasty wreck. If the front bulkhead goes, the aluminum mounts won't really do much to help as far as not bending the chassis.

I do prefer to run the mounts for setup purposes, seems to make the front end more consistent.

I have had the same set of tlr titanium tie rods on three different cars with no problems. They started on my 2.0 then 3.0 and now they are on my 4.0. same thing with my titanium shock mounts.
