I saw this thread and had to check it out.
I'm a basher of buggies as well. It's sad to see spokes and big knobby tires disappear. I don't mind bearing and pin driven wheels. JConcepts had a good thing going with the Rulux wheels. They are my favorite wheels of all time. Very hard to find the front 2wd buggy rims. I stocked up on many pairs to last me 10 years or so (hopefully), and have given up the search. I even went as far as Australia for a set of Rulux wheels. After they are gone...I'll be the saddest person.
Maybe in 10 years, spokes will make a come back.
