Will these parts work on a 22t 2.0?
CASTER BLOCK SET, 5 DEGREES: 22 3.0
and the A-Arms from a 22t 3.0

The team has been running it a bit, all with good feedback.

Thanks Frank!! Really appreciate your input. Switching brands, have everything in the cart. Running on indoor dirt/clay. Med-high. Are they adding rear-front brass hanger weight when running laydown.

I gotta say, the 3.0 truck can be set up to have some ridiculous steering!

SOOOO much more than the 2.0. Short VLA, #1 Ackermann, the new ballcups... lots of improvements to get more steering, especially mid-corner, than you could shake a fist at. Really good on tight indoor tracks.

Nice job TLR. I broke a caster block insert, so I guess I'm going to glue the next set in to be safe.

EDIT:

Good to hear Tsair!! Are you using 4mm trail??
Anyone know if the one piece 4mm or even 2mm trail from the 2.0 will work on the 3.0? Part number?
Thx

It's official, ordered my 3.0 yesterday. Have a lay down tranny on the way as well. Gonna try that setup first!! Looking forward to running Losi.
May be getting some good questions and some dumb questions from me during the build and while setting it up.
Woohoo!!!

Frank can you share a laydown setup for sdrc or ocrc if you have one available? Thanks in advance

I'm running 2mm of trail. It's quite aggressive, I'll probably give 3mm a try again, it's been a long time since I ran that. I don't think you'll want to use the 2.0 caster blocks, the 3.0's have lots of adjustments the 2.0 doesn't have and uses the one piece axle/hexes.

Is there some way to mount the rear shocks on the front of the arms?

If using laydown yes. You'd need to drill your own holes in the front of the rear arms. Might need longer screws and standoffs if you wanted to change the angle of the shocks and allow for a little play. Might need to mod (cut out) part of the body too. I actually did it for awhile with an Exotek LD but went back to standup and rear shocks in back. I'm sure it's more of a commentary on my still developing setup and driving skills than the car.

I have been out of the loop for a bit. Have they resolved the ballcup issue? If so any part numbers?

Rayzcar,
With moving the shocks to the front of the arms can't you just flip the rear arms to get the holes in the front??
My truck arrives later today. I will look at the arms and see. That's what I am going to try and do.
