Hobbywing also has 3652 and 3660 motors. I agree that the 3656 4700kv is a lot of motor, the 3652 4300kv would probably be better for some.

Personally I would get the 3660 g2 4300kv motor. The longer can should produce more torque for the heavier SCT. I wanted one when I built my 48SL but sadly they were out of stock and I wound up with a 3656SD instead.

Perfect it's the engagement of RPM and a plethora of other factors. Everyone know that 17.5 blinky can run a clock.

Nice thread. I'll tell you what I'm running in My Losi 22 2.0 2wd short course truck.
A castle 4600kv which is plenty of motor for 2wd offroad. Sidewinder 3 ESC, Futaba Metal Geared Servo, Specktrum black radio the new one with black receiver DX4c DSMR Radio.
Even thou your not supposed to mix Futaba with Spektrum I have not had any glitches or errors.
Now you can run Savox Servos the cheaper servos with Futaba radios they glitch on spektrum but not Futaba ive tried it.

That's not bore x stroke. Horsepower isn't an enormous catalyst although what is up?
