In regards to Bornhorsts setup, when he says 3x2.0 and 3x2.1 pistons, are they tapered pistons or flat pistons? And if they are tapered, are they tapered up or down? I've searched, but nothing conclusive comes up (although someone did mention that he ran tapered up at one event).
3x2.1's https://fiercercsolutions.com/TKR616...cs-TKR6162.htm then probably drilled these out to 2.0's https://fiercercsolutions.com/TKR616...cs-TKR6160.htm I swear 2.0's were available before, but I can't find them. |

Thank you very much gentlemen, but once again, both differing answers. ezlight listed the tapered pistons and Mikeand22 says flat lol. Oh well, I'll try flat and see how it goes!

hey guys I am looking to make a switch later in the year from a sworkz car thinking off trying out the eb48.4 would that be a smart move or should I just stay were I am I need some think is easy to drive and stable and planted to the ground

Get the tekno!! Can’t give you a valid reason as to what makes it better than sworks, but you will be very pleased. My son has had the same plastic spur gear since December 2016,just replaced the chassis to freshen it up. No slop anywhere. Barely any wear on the outdrives which is unbelievable... setup works at a variety of different tracks

I’m looking to take some anti squat out of my buggy but have a question as to the best way. I can either go up a dot on the pills in the D block or I can down a dot on the C block. Will there be a difference doing it one way vs the other?

Going down on the C will slightly lower the roll center and going up on the D will raise it. If you were going to take out 1 degree of anti-squat you could also go down on the C half a degree and up on the D half a degree and your roll center won't change.
Thanks! |
I run center dot on C block and double dot up and inner on D block (1.5° antisquat and -2.5° toe in). Yes, it raises the rear roll center.
it's my basic's setup. |

Either get the car to try, or don't. You've been in an eternal debate with yourself since the .3 car. Just get a Tekno, and find out for yourself.:nod::D |
Ebuggy familiarity
After getting comfortable with my .3 I decided to upgrade to a .4 and what not but I can not get it to handle how my .3 did. My rear end gets loose when I exit a corner under power where where my .3 was basically glued to the ground.
Can any body point me in the direction of a good set up for an outdoor medium/hard pack track with loose spots/few small ruts medium to large jumps. |

I'll give this a try
I'm debating whether to get a good used .3 for cheap, or the .4 for "better handling". Never driven the .3, but my buddy's .4 felt awesome. Hope it works for for you. |
