I used joes rough track setup for out door,but went with the stock pistons and center dot on the d-block. Losi oil, i have the stock diffnoils in now but will go lighter.. like 774.

I tried Lutz's setup last weekend and the car was better than stock setup for me. Large clay indoor track.

Box stock seems like the oil is light in the rear. I tried the car on a small tight indoor 1/10 scale track and I've run my other 1/8 scale buggy in there. The Tekno seemed to have less steering. I see some setup sheets where they remove the washer from the steering bump stop and also change the ride height (lower the front). I don't know if that is what is happening or if its the new akerman plate. Haven't had much time to mess with it. I figure once I get it on a bigger track I'll make a few changes. But that is what I felt on my initial drive.

I did change a few small things, setup was pretty much Joe's with the box oils.

Suspension was a little too stiff for that track but the car was still new so just wanted to break in the chassis a bit.

Very nice! Looks like she is handling pretty well on that bumpy track.

Looked decent, definitely too stiff. Good driving though despite it.

For outdoor,do you guys run the steel spur gear?

I do and it's one of the best upgrades

Smoke, That's smokin, lol. Very nice looking body and wheels. Hate to run them though, 1st tube I'd hit I'd cringe.

Looking good! I've used the clear lexan wings but their life span is short on my track :]

Where are these instock?

I have yet to upgrade any of my Tekno builds with a steel spur gear. What is the benefit of doing so in your opinion?
