+1 although wheeler is my favorite class it's not a good starter class at all. Start with 2wd 17.5 and progress from there.

I dont care at this point. This thread is now pure amusement anymore. Between all the stupid questions and comments, crying about shipping and availability, and talk about e-cash there is now about 4 actually useful posts on this thread.

BTW 10 on the way to the LHS, shipped pout today. I wouldn't be surprised if they show up tomorrow.

This is not a good starting point into the hobby. Look into a 2wd vehicle like an Associated truck T5m or buggy B6d. Perhaps short course.

4wd will be more of a handful on assembly and lots more moving parts that need maintenance and replacing.

Shock parts, pinions, maybe a turnbuckle. Ball stud washers and the ring for the servo horn.

I did just order a bunch of the plastic diff gears though. I am gonna try them out. We are gonna start a 13.5 wheeler in the next couple weeks.

Just pre ordered 12 sets from GP. Hopefully AE releases them soon. Wondering though, would 2 steel ones be better? lighter? wonder what the difference between full built gear diff would weight compared to a full built ball diff.

Mine will be here Friday. I ordered 2 for myself. We're hosting a race this Saturday. Hopefully one of my locals can get his assembled and ready to race on time....I'm still going to use my 22-4 2.0. Too bad the B64s didn't ship a day sooner.

It will pick back up once kits are received and a screw or 2 are missing or a ball stud is un threaded.
