I support my local track when I can but it's crazy not to shop around. If I could score a new F150 for 25% off at another dealer I'd probably go for it no?

Agreed for ordering cars online. LHS doesn't make any money on the kit itself. At least mine doesn't. They even charge 3% on credit cards so they don't loose money. I do buy all my wheels and tires at LHS. Imo that's plenty. Plus track use fees, they make a lot of money off of me. If I didn't save on my parts and kits I wouldn't be able to go to the tracks as much.
Had $30 ecash from ordering the esc and motor for my b64d plus the $60 super saver coupon and it was only $340. I'd be stupid not to get it on tower and pay $390+ at my lhs

I really used to beat myself up over not buying my kits from the store, but i can use tower easy pay and coupons to make my money go further. when i talked to our track owner he started telling me about the profit on kits. 30-50 was the general profit. I buy almost everything there but kits. The money I save on kits I try to put back in his pocket on higher margin items.
