Default gearing for 13.5

31/78 is the tallest gearing that will fit with the gear diff. Internal on the car is 2.47.

I plan to run my B64D with a 13.5, and I do hope smaller spurs are available for the gear diff. A 75t at least, or a 72t if there is room to attach it. If a 75t or 72t are not available for the B64, I'll just see what it takes to make my own.
When I had a B44.3, I made my own 72t spur for it and it worked great.

That will be perfect for 13.5 at my track.. Ran a 75/28 with the .3 for a 6.62 FDR. Looks like a 78/29 would be 6.64 which is close enough for me.

What are the dimensions of the track you run at? What motor are you using? We are gonna start running 13.5 wheeler when this car comes out and I am looking for a starting point.

thanks for the info. Will get a comparison to what I run now (durango dex410v5) and see how it goes. Thats probably one +1 on the durango column is the setup can run a wide range of spurs, with baby sized pinions or super massive ones (especially if you trim the motor cam "lip").

Looking forward to more info on the buggy.

Just make sure you have really tall rails on your drivers stand.

Just the "D" version. The carpet version hasn't been officially announced so no way to have a date for a car that doesn't exist....yet.

I have some what the same questions. Going to be running the new Castle 5700KV motor. Which spur/pinion would you recommend?
