That’s what i assumed as I was able to secure the front one but the rear seems impossible. I have been running the car without it, just making sure the battery atrap is well tightened and I’ve yet to have any issues with a pack moving around but I’d still like to get it figured out.

Loosen the 25204 screw for the rear battery post. This should give enough space for the spacer to fit into the slot. Once the battery spacer is in place retighten the 25204 screw.

Picked up a B64d in a trade over the weekend. Haven’t raced 1/10th in a long time. Also have a 2wd buggy as well. Looking forward to racing

Is there a chart or something that shows what all the different combos of mount inserts create as far as toe in, roll center, anti-squat/dive etc? Thanks in advance!

Rear is same as B6 so standard is 3deg toe and 2deg antisquat, see here;

Team Associated B6 & B6D - Arm Mount Pill Chart

Front kick up is 10deg and centre - centre inserts are parallel hinge pins, easy to work the rest out

Well done you. The B64 is a terrific bit of kit, you’ll love it.

Differences between b64 <-> b64d; is the center diff the only difference between these cars? Asking because I can get a b64d for $115 less than the carpet version(b64).

I believe the carpet car uses different shock towers, different length shocks and i think the front arms are different too.

Nope....All that is exactly the same from the 64 to the 64D. Slipper vs gear diff is the main difference. 64 also has different sway bars, 7 deg front caster blocks (D has 10), 5mm front hexes. Everything else is minor, setup related items (springs).

My mistake, I must’ve gotten confused with the 2 wheeler. Thanks for correcting me.

If I'm not a pro, I only drive because it's fun, will I be slower on carpet with a B64d with the gear diff than I would be with a B64 with the slipper diff?

Maybe.
Using the same oil in the centre diiff on indoor carpet as you would slippy dirt and you will have the front wheels spinning like mad. Corner exit would be slow.
Increase the oil enough so that it doesnt spin the front wheels, and you will have no give in the drive train for on power downsides of jumps and you risk mashing the gears/spur.
You could however drive just fine by taking it easy but its a compromise and compromises are slower.
Saying all this, I purchased the “d” because it was much cheaper and bought a slipper as well. Best of both worlds.
