As others have said, they surely just have a bunch of overlapping "half hole or less" adjustments all stacked up. You can do that when it's not plastic and you're bolted down. Those big b5 ball cups are surely hiding them.

Good point, and as it's a prototype perhaps the adjustments weren't added/drilled in yet.

Will today bring a center diff pic!?!?

you know, I wouldn't mind having a vehicle (asssuming durability is the same) that was clear :)

Are 44.3's 10 cents on the dollar yet ? locally we cant sell a b5m roller for $100 , and I cant wait to get a 4wd buggy for that kinda money ....

As far as this constant blah about original vs copied vs borrowed designs . Don't overthink this stuff . Certain designs create certain physical properties that either work well and solve problems or they don't. Period. The designs you keep seeing over and over are the ones that solve a problem , or create a result the designer is after in the simplest, strongest , and most cost effective way.

I like the idea of large ball diffs. (fighting the urge to say big balls ) I would add to it a heavy metal diff gear too. Increasing the rotational mass for low grip surfaces while still being infinitely adjustable. I mean tungsten kind of heavy .

The Serpent SRX2's diff uses 1/8" balls. Seems like that car never got popular enough for drivers to develop an opinion about it.
