I have huge respect for ya YzRacer but even you had to mix the pistons. Maybe they work on high bite smooth tracks.
I have raced for years and I guess know how to build a shock, but the stock 6hole pistons work just better for the tracks here.

Many have ran the 6 hole high pack just like Jeremy was saying. Its really just a personal preference. I have been running the 6 hole medium pack in front and low pack in the rear. I havnt really messed with the 8 hole yet but going to do some testing this weekend.
Yes, the blue motor plate will be online soon.

The pack strengths are determined by the height of the carbon valve.
We offer pistons only on our site as well. That way you can test different pistons without buying a complete set:

We run on huge outdoor tracks with the surface being "real" outdoor clay and not this smooth/grippy as in Thornhill. It has ruts and stuff you used to have in the USA.

Could somebody with a HB d812/815e and 6 hole pistons do a drop test video and show how the suspension works. yzracer?

Are these primarily run by 8th scale, 4x4 sct, and stadium trucks. Anyone running these in buggies that can tell us the difference in say 2 hole 1.6 or 1.7 VRP compared to Schelle/Avid? thx

Here's a quick video we threw together. The temp outside where the video was shot is about 25 degrees cooler then what it was in Texas at the event so the shock oil is on the thick side for the current cooler conditions.

I build the shocks with zero rebound and usually put the bleeder screw in after.
