We run on huge outdoor tracks with the surface being "real" outdoor clay and not this smooth/grippy as in Thornhill. It has ruts and stuff you used to have in the USA.

I have huge respect for ya YzRacer but even you had to mix the pistons. Maybe they work on high bite smooth tracks.
I have raced for years and I guess know how to build a shock, but the stock 6hole pistons work just better for the tracks here.

Yes, the blue motor plate will be online soon.
Med pack front with low pack rear sounds like it might work for the tracks here but can't justify buying two complete sets just to test.

The pack strengths are determined by the height of the carbon valve.

We offer pistons only on our site as well. That way you can test different pistons without buying a complete set:

Thornhill is not my home track and that was the first time I ran that setup as it was suggested by Smiley. Back in my home region of tracks I run 5x1.5 front and 5x1.6 rear if the track is rough and rutted.

What was the ambient temperature that you were running those oils in?

Temps at the ProLine race were in the low to mid 90's in the mid day time. Mid to low 80's to start in the am.
It was not bad, just warm enough to need the A/C pit area.

Are these primarily run by 8th scale, 4x4 sct, and stadium trucks. Anyone running these in buggies that can tell us the difference in say 2 hole 1.6 or 1.7 VRP compared to Schelle/Avid? thx

Here's a quick video we threw together. The temp outside where the video was shot is about 25 degrees cooler then what it was in Texas at the event so the shock oil is on the thick side for the current cooler conditions.

Hmm, my car behaves with Losi 35/20 totally different, it seems almost like hydrolock. Even though there isn't it's just packing like crazy.
I build the shocks with zero rebound and usually put the bleeder screw in after.
